Wheniwasfour Singlish Wooden Coasters

Regular price $5.50

Place these singlish coasters in your home now – we have 'Lah', 'Meh', 'Lor', and 'Sia', all commonly used in Singapore. Swee lah!

'Lah' is the most commonly used singlish, randomly applied at the end of our sentences. In some conversations, it can represent anger or pleading in questions.

Similar to 'Lah', we use 'Sia' at the end of our sentences, usually to express surprise, disbelief, etc.

'Lor' is usually added to the end of the sentence, or paired with another word to express a sense of resignation or reluctance.
